Overview

The Account & Project Manager is a client service and delivery role responsible for day-to-day account management and project execution across digital marketing programs.

This role serves as the primary client contact for execution, translating approved strategies into actionable plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring work is delivered accurately, on time, and in alignment with defined objectives.

This position is not a strategic lead role, but requires strong project management discipline, client communication skills, and a working understanding of digital marketing and media execution.

Key Responsibilities

Client Account Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts on execution, timelines, and deliverables

  • Manage client communications, status updates, documentation, and follow-ups

  • Ensure client expectations are clearly set, documented, and met

  • Represent client needs internally, escalating risks, blockers, or scope changes as needed

  • Maintain strong, professional client relationships built on trust, clarity, and consistency

Project Management & Delivery

  • Own project planning, timelines, and task coordination across campaigns and initiatives

  • Translate approved strategies into clear project plans and execution workflows

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (media, creative, analytics, intake) to ensure smooth delivery

  • Track scope, budget, milestones, and dependencies across active workstreams

  • Ensure deliverables meet quality, compliance, and timing requirements

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting

Digital Marketing Execution Oversight

  • Maintain a working understanding of digital marketing and paid media execution to:

    • Ask informed questions

    • Identify execution risks

    • Support effective cross-team communication

  • Monitor performance at a high-level to ensure delivery aligns with agreed KPIs

  • Partner with subject matter experts on implementation and reporting (without owning optimization or strategy development)

Vendor & Partner Coordination

  • Support coordination and briefing of vendor partners

  • Ensure vendors are aligned on scope, timelines, and deliverables

  • Track vendor execution against agreed expectations

Internal Contribution at Élan

  • Contribute to process improvement and delivery best practices

  • Participate in cross-functional collaboration and internal learning initiatives

  • Support a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethical execution

  • Travel domestically ~5% for client meetings or industry events

Qualifications

  • 3–4 years of experience in client services, account management, or project management

  • Strong background in project coordination and execution across multiple stakeholders

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines

  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms such as:

    • Google Analytics

    • Google Ads

    • Facebook Ads Manager

  • Working knowledge of digital marketing concepts (paid media, SEO, social, content, email)

This is a fully remote position and is limited to candidates residing in the following states: MN, MA, IL, MT, NJ, NC, OH, OK, TN, WA, PA, NY, and FL.
