Responsibilities
The Social Media & SEO Specialist will support the Élan media team across various media and online reputation platforms by driving quality organic search and social strategies, creative, and community management. You will also maintain healthy relationships with technology, analytics, and media partners on campaign-specific needs while executing organic media and SEO strategy for Élan clients.
Develop and execute organic social media strategies aligned with overall marketing goals
Oversee the development of engaging and shareable organic content across various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
Build and maintain a strong online community by responding to comments, reviews, and messages in a timely and professional manner
Monitor competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth
Conduct SEO audits and keyword research to identify content optimization to improve client visibility in search results
Research and execute AEO and GEO strategies to enhance visibility in AI-driven search results
Track and analyze organic search and social media performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement
Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices
Internal Contribution at Élan
Participate in cross-functional collaboration and internal learning initiatives
Support a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethical execution
Travel domestically ~5% for client meetings or industry events
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in organic social media marketing and SEO strategy
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Mass Communication
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and Google Docs Editors suite
Minimum of 2 years of experience using design software such as Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After, etc.)
Excellent written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content
Presented research on technology, marketing, and its influence on consumer behavior
Strong communication, project management, time management, and analytical skills required
Detail-oriented, very organized, a multi-tasker and able to work well under pressure
Collaborative leadership style, team-oriented; brings professionalism and business acumen in all aspects of your work
The self-motivation to complete multiple tasks and projects on time
