FAQs

How do I know if my business is eligible?

Meta Verified is available in select regions for businesses that meet certain eligibility requirements. Review the requirements for Facebook and Instagram and the requirements for WhatsApp to determine if your business qualifies.

Where will the badge appear?

  • Facebook: Your Facebook Page and Messenger account

  • Instagram: Your Instagram and Threads accounts

  • WhatsApp: Your business profile, chat header, and channel

What determines plan availability?

Plan availability may vary based on your business profile, region, and activity across Meta apps. Meta may consider factors such as profile visits, post engagement, status views, and —where permitted by law— the number of message conversations.

  • Some Meta Verified features may vary depending on the platform (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Threads, or Messenger).

  • Businesses may be required to enable two-factor authentication before completing the Meta Verified process.
